Loss and Devastation

On my walk with a friend yesterday I remember putting my sunglasses in my bag.  I can only presume that I somehow managed to drop them as I cannot find them anywhere!  I have had these glasses for over 10 years, they are on my head in my passport photo and I am simply devastated to have lost them.  They have been everywhere with me and I never lose things.  Ack and double bloody. An interlude

I spent the earlier part of the day showing people around rental properties across town.  I am always amazed at the poor standard of accommodation being touted by landlords in Edinburgh, and even more astonished that there is someone willing to pay for homes that have not been cleaned or decorated since the mid 70’s.   I saw one apartment today that made me want to shower with wire wool and dettol. A Proper Education for Girls
