Stuart recommended him to me also. I read his shortest book because I am impatient and troubled. I want to read “Nazi Literature in the Americas” but the writers’ room edition stinks so much. Smells like it was immersed in sewage.

Yes. This was an early Stuart recommendation, although I can’t remember why. Now that I am reading 2666 I shall be delighted and indeed excited to read anything else Bolano has written. I am more than happy to lend you 2666 if you don’t find the copy in the writers room to your pernickity ways.
