Progress!

I feel dreadful today which is such a huge improvement as to how I have been feeling the past week and a half that I am damn near jumping for joy. I know this is a little rigid but I hate people who have the cold. I have been so sick this past week; I am exhausted. I had to request an extension for two papers due on 04 December and have missed some much needed work. Even my eyelashes hurt from retching and coughing and I think I have lost 7lbs through fevered tossing. I also had the worst fevered tossed nightmare that featured the entire contents of The Norton Anthology of Theory and Criticism, my sister, Red Riding Hood, failing both assignments and having to present a masterclass on metafiction.  Oh  boy, that was a doosey! The Criminal Mind

I attended the ESRC Genomics Policy & Research Forum event last week, pictures and information of which can be found here. It was very interesting and although the session did not dwell on it, there was reference to the Victorian idea of a criminal mind, that criminals are a distinctive subset of society; that somewhere they carry the mark of Cain. Dialogic and the King

Ergh…but in a good way. I have a 3,000 word life writing assignment to finish by Friday 04 December, and a further 3,000 words in which I cleverly illustrate my learning of theory to a short story also due to be submitted by Friday 04 December.
