We had a guest speaker yesterday, the author Linda Cracknell whose blog is here. Linda was accompanied by Philippa Johnston the Director of Literaturetraining, an online one stop shop offering a wealth of information and resources for writers. The Perfect Partnership

Bacon and eggs. Gin and tonic. Burton and Taylor. I am sure you can think of many more. I was given the perfect partnership for Christmas this year – a Sony Reader and a hot water bottle with a pink fake fur cover. Aahhhh! David Foster Wallace

I was introduced to this writer through our close reading practice and there is a link to the piece we looked at in the entry on November 8 – Close Reading of the Literary Kind.
